Follow up effectively with the systems of the responder

If you have visited any Web site owned by internet marketing then you are familiar with the usual opt-in email form, urging and cajoling visitors to the site to add their email address in exchange for a free ebook or e-course.

If you have never taken the bait then there have been added to this list e-mail marketing, which includes usually followed with regular e-mail.

What surprises me is that very many people on my list are not aware of the fact that when I follow after you subscribe to my mailing list - e-mail automatically turn off.

It would be physically impossible to send e-mail so many many people. Certainly could not be done individually, given the size of some e-mail lists - sometimes running into 100,000 s. Mine is a modest 11,000 strong. Can you imagine having to send my members individually, tailoring each? It is no accident!

The truth is that I and other online business owners use autoresponders to send regular emails to our lists.

Autoresponders can be programmed to go out at set intervals and can also be personalized with the recipient's name and other details - depending on the complexity of the form from the website which is added to the list.

Get an autoresponder is easy as signing up for an account online. The hard part is coming up with interesting and targeted information for those who join your mailing list.

Courses e-mails are commonly used to sell products and services. For example, if you sell widgets, you could develop a course that teaches people how to use widgets or how to take care of their widgets. Experts agree that a course in e-mail can be written for almost every product imaginable - if you put enough thought into it.

Once you've written your progress, simply add the course to the answering machine and set the intervals of a few days away. The original e-mail goes out immediately.

Once you do this you add a web form, usually supplied by the company autoresponder to your website to collect your site visitor's name, e-mail.

Most answering services web, or at best, provide a function that allows you to send to your email list every time you need it. This is useful to send your newsletter, tips or discounts.

If you are serious about managing a successful internet then you must have an email response system in place. No self respecting Internet marketer would be without one .......
