The course offers numerous sand barriers that encourage exciting and challenging its 18 holes. In midfield there is a beautiful palace that houses the club and is decorated with traditional green tiles and ocher walls. The club has a restaurant and several terraces and suites facing the Atlas Mountains. The Golf d'Amelkis is the third largest golf course in Marrakech is located at km. 12 of the Road Ouarzazate. The course has 27 holes with a par 72 and a total length of 6657 meters. It was created by landscape architect Cabell B. Robinson and is probably the most visually striking and field attraction of the city. The course is very technical, possibly the most technical of Marrakech, and has numerous bunkers and artificial lakes. There are very few trees along the route, only a few palm trees here and there, but the seductive atmosphere and challenge golfers of all levels.

The course is demanding and challenging, very hilly and uneven, with many early blind, pitfalls to avoid in every hole and 7 lakes suitably arranged and picturesque red brick bunkers made of crushed.
