How to improve sales position


Have you been to a grocery store lately? Recently, I wandered along the corridor, breakfast cereals and discovered many brands of cereals had more choices than I can remember. I noticed that the bland choices and options at lower prices were the lowest self and hard to reach. However, the selection of the awards were very visible at eye level and took the main space. The premium shelf positioning helps to sell more cereal.

The problem at the bottom

The lower shelf in the grocery store is similar to the area in which our minds, which will remove an item for new selections. At the grocery store I was saddened to see one of my childhood favorites, which is located in the bottom. I am sure that if the shredded wheat does something soon, will become the victim of a progressive expansion of cereal.

Top Of Mind Awareness Building

One of the sellers goal is to create greater awareness of the mind to sell more. Improving the position is developed through the sale of the skills and whiting out and burning out the competition. Being in first place is ideal. However, being in second place is not so bad. When you think of a second, you might get a case, when the first selection is unavailable. Unfortunately, as you move further down the selection process is like being labeled as bland and lower self, where the dust accumulates and is not a good place to sell.

Expand and improve your sales position

As a business owner or seller, you can create a competitive advantage by adding and expanding the space in your mind the customers for the services provided. Each time you add a service in the mind of your customer, you will enlarge your overall position in their mind and protect your "Top Of Mind Awareness" exists. It also prevents someone else from invading your space of mind or premium shelf space - so to speak .......
