Search Engine Optimization - SEO secrets of the professionals

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a very different game from the PPC. The objective of an SEO campaign is to collect a single word or a phrase and try to get a single page on your website to rank well in search engines for it. This can be a bit complicated, but the two single most important factors to get ranked in search engines for a particular keyword is on site SEO and building quality backlinks.

On site SEO is simply the process of optimizing a given page for a particular keyword. This means that your target word in the title, H1 tags, META information, and scattered throughout the page content. It should also be sure to build what Google considers a site as "real." This essentially means that your website should include a contact, About Us, Disclosure, Privacy, and Terms and Conditions of a page. It 's also useful for adding a blog to your site such as Google tends to be a big fan of blogs and other social pages.

Once the site of half SEO then you need to turn your attention to build quality backlinks. This is probably the most challenging aspect of Search Engine Optimization because we must first understand what a quality backlink is in any case. First let me address the word "quality". Quality Backlinks are not really something you should worry too much in the first month of your SEO efforts. Instead of focusing on the development of any backlink you can get. There is one caveat to that though. Do not build backlinks to sites that Google considers objectionable content.

Probably it is obvious what is objectionable, but in general everything that would not show a 13 years is probably not something you want the link to your site. This means that the porn and other adult content only, drugs, gambling, anything promoting violence, racism, sexism ... you get the point.

Basically keep your backlinks safe for all audiences, and you should be okay.

So, how do you get these backlinks? The easiest way to start is with Article Marketing. Write some articles and submit them to places like EzineArticles. You might also consider using an article submission service to automatically get your article published on other web sites, blogs and directories. Another technique people use to get backlinks is posting comments in forums and blogs. Although this method is often not working out as SPAM and is highly likely that Google will devalue such links in the near future (unless you already have done so.) Finally, always store the webpages and articles using a random mix social bookmarking sites like Digg. This is a great way to quickly get Google to spider your site .......
